Fantasy.fr has a couple of more new shots of PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME (Check out the trailer) starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton, directed by Mike Newell. As you can see, one of the images appears to be showing Dastan and Tamina hiding, on the run from somebody chasing after them… maybe it’s the critics. Ha! View both images after the jump…

In the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced video game adaptation, opening May 28, a rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

    A couple of reports stated the budget was about $150 Million

    I have seen a trailer for this and the story is not bad. I seems like they are coming the story from the first and thrid game togther which is not bad cause they do run together and make sense. It’s just that he has the look from the second game.

    They still could have given the guy an airbrush. Jake is way too pale. I can’t get over it. It’s like watching a Stephenie Meyer Cullen Vampire running around in persian clothes and no sparkles.
