I had a chat with legendary actress Jane Alexander (Gigantic, Kramer Vs. Kramer, Terminator Salvation) some time ago and she said that once a female actors goes past a certain age, it gets harder and harder for her to be offered any decent role. That’s not the case with male actors because Bruce Willis has reached 54 years old and still got projects coming from left and right that are practically begging for him to be the lead star.

According to Risky Biz Blog, the 3 projects that he’s considering are the following..

INVENTORY, for Nulmage/Millenium, Willis is in talks to star in this thriller that would have him play a detective on the trail of a murderer.

RED,for Summit Entertainment, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing, and Erich and Jon Hoeber are writing the screenplay, which is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic. In this CIA tale, Willis will play a former black-ops agent who has retired but is forced back into action when a high-tech assassin threatens him and his girlfriend.
Both Summit and Willis are still in negotiations and the name Richard Donner (Superman, 16 Blocks) might be the possible director.

SCARPA for Morgan Creek, it’s a mob biopic about Greg Scarpa, an FBI informant who worked deeply undercover in New York’s Columbo family, directed by Antoine Fuqua (Tears of The Sun). But word has it Willis might not decide to do this one.

But he’s still got so many other things to do first like Kevin Smith’s action comedy A Couple Of Dicks and the movie adaptation Kane & Lynch based on the awesome violent video game and he’s got Touchstone’s upcoming sci-fi flick SURROGATES scheduled to open September 25th, 2009
It’s a good day to be Bruce Willis, it’s a great day to die hard!
