Avatar

I know some of you have been waiting for this, while the rest of us are going ‘big deal’. The king of the worldwide box office of all time, director James Cameron previously said his game-changing movie will hit DVD this coming Earth Day, which I thought was appropriate since AVATAR did carry lots of environmental, love your nature message, and that the Blu-Ray might arrive later on this year. Well, both are hitting the streets at the same time now, because Fox has announced that AVATAR Blu-Ray and DVD will arrive on April 22nd, 2010 for United States and Canada..Check out the list below for additional release dates around the world, after this jump… Read the rest of this entry »

Transformers

Do you live in L.A. or near the area? Wanna be in TRANSFORMERS 3 as an extra? I’d definitely take this into consideration especially if it means I could get to watch Megan Fox shake her booty in person.. no touching tough, unless you wanna risk getting arrested for being a creep.. Craigslist has the info for this paid extra job,. that’s right.. you’ll get about $200 a day, I’m not sure if you’re allowed to videotape Michael Bay destroy a bunch of cars with explosions on your cell phone camera but you’ll probably get to tweet about it and tell Rama’s SCREEN of how the day went. Details and contact after this jump. Good luck… Read the rest of this entry »

Jim Carrey, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson

For a while now, Jennifer Garner has been set to star in TWC’s comedy/parody/metaphor, BUTTER, which kinda makes fun of the 2008 caucus of Hillary Clinton Vs. Obama. Garner will play a Hillary-esque character in this story scripted by Jason Micallef, it actually made it in the 2008 Black list (great unproduced screenplays)… Read the rest of this entry »

Jason Segel Muppets

This is no surprise, he’s been involved with this project from the beginning anyway. I’m talking about actor Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and THE GREATEST MUPPET MOVIE OF ALL TIME, the new installment that he co-wrote with Nicholas Stoller for Disney. This is Segel’s passion project, he’s been wanting this for a long time. Heat Vision said Segel is set to star as the human lead… Read the rest of this entry »

Existence

You know we have to stop at ‘comic book based movie-ville’ at some point or another today, so let’s make it now, HeatVision said paramount bought the screen rights to EXISTENCE 2.0, based on the image comic book written by Nick Spencer, illustrated by Ronald Salas. Smallville creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough are attached to adapt… Read the rest of this entry »

Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell, Amanda Seyfried, Jonathan Rhys Meyers

So many casting info, so I figured I’d just place these two in one post. Simple and straightforward.. like healthcare.. actually I take that back.. healthcare is anything but simple let alone straightforward… Read the rest of this entry »

Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz

Earlier today we heard that Sir Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen have signed on for Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of THE INVENTION OF HUGO CABRET based on the best-selling children’s historical fiction book by author Brian Selznick. The project is picking up its pace because Deadline New York said two more have joined the cast… Read the rest of this entry »

Alice Eve, Emily Blunt

Just recently, when info hit the web that Channing Tatum is considered for THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA, along with a gazillion other actors, it was also said that the studio had approached Keira Knightley to play Betsy Ross, which I found a bit weird but this one makes more sense,.. Turns out, it’s not Betsy Ross, it’s Peggy  and Deadline New York said the competition for the female lead is between Knightley, Alice Eve (She’s Out Of My League) and Emily Blunt.
So they’re going for an American to play CAPTAIN AMERICA but they’re ok with a Brit to play his love interest… interesting..
If you’d recall, Blunt was supposed to play Black Widow in IRON MAN 2 but Fox kept her tied to Gulliver’s Travels so it’s understandable why she would be chasing CAPTAIN AMERICA.
We’ll see how this race turns out.. I hope it doesn’t drag as long as trying to find the male lead.
