When I think of Amanda Peet, the first thing that came to mind was The Whole Nine Yards, her other performances after that movie didn’t cause any buzz, her role in X-Files: I Want To Believe was replaceable. But supporting actress is what she’ll always be and her hotness has got her another gig.
According to Hollywood Reporter, she has joined the cast of GULLIVER’S TRAVELS. Just to recap, this is the 20th Century Fox big budget project that kept Emily Blunt from playing Black Widow IRON MAN 2. So there is a certain resentment toward this movie despite the fact that awesome Jack Black is involved as the lead star.
The adaptation has Jack Black take on the title role of Lemuel Gulliver, a free-spirited travel writer who, on an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Liliput, home to a population of industrious, yet tiny, people.
Directed by Rob Letterman (Monsters Vs. Aliens) using the script written by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman.
