Miss Better Living Through Crime Antoine Fuqua

What do you think of Antoine Fuqua’s movies? (Training Day, Tears Of The Sun, King Arthur, Shooter) he’s got Brooklyn’s Finest and is set to take on the much spoken about thriller PRISONERS. According to Variety, he’s going to direct the adaptation of MISS: BETTER LIVING THROUGH CRIME based on the graphic novel created by Philippe Thirault, Marc Riou and Mark Vigouroux. Vigilante Entertainment is financing the project and looking into housing this action/thriller targeted for mature audiences, at a studio…

Here’s the official synopsis of the graphic novel..
“Set during the early 1900s New York, MISS tells the tale of two unlikely partners in crime, Enola and Slim. Enola is a poor white girl who has learned to survive by hook or by crook since being expelled from the orphanage. Slim is a black pimp with an uncertain past, trying to keep one foot out of the grave. When their paths cross and their options run out, Enola and Slim forge a partnership as murderers for hire. This is their story…what it takes to survive when all you have is a gun.”
John Ridley, who penned George Lucas‘ upcoming World War II flick RED TAILS, is going to write the script for MISS: BETTER LIVING THROUGH CRIME
