Joy to the World! This holiday season there’s another reason to rejoice besides the manger baby.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the long talked about ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Movie has moved closer to reality, with the show’s creator Mitch Hurwitz and producer Ron Howard reportedly closing deals for the long-gestating project from Imagine and Fox Searchlight
It’s about freakin’ time! Jeffrey Tambor, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and some of the other cast of the short-lived hilarious series have been campaigning for this project for the past year. You thought Obama and McCain were campaigning hard, the cast of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT were bending over backwards too,.. the only thing missing were the negative ads.
I as a fan am glad that somebody up there hear our disappointment when Fox made a terrible decision to cancel the series after its third season due to low ratings.. I was like ‘Dude, I was watching that!’
So far that’s where we’re at right now.. I’ll share with you more as it develops in time,.. I wonder what the movie plot’s going to be about… keep in mind that it does have a huge number of stars and that some are currently now busy making other movies.
