Arrested Development

The talk of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Movie has been going for a while now, Jason Bateman says, Michael Cera says but there’s never a certainty,.. it’s always been just possibility and nothing more.
But Collider got the first dibs today straight from one of the stars of the hilarious show (only ran for 3 seasons and got canceled due to low ratings despite winning Emmy for Best Comedy)
Jeffrey Tambor was promoting the upcoming HELLBOY II Blu-Ray and this is what he said about the ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT The Movie…

we’re doing it. We are going. It’s a go. I just actually this week talked to Mitch Hurwitz (the creator of the show), so we’re doing it.

when the writer calls you, the director and the executive producer calls you, it’s a pretty good sign.

A movie would be great about the whole family would be great, but it’d be awesome as it is already even if they just had one movie about the character Tobias Funke who was the idiot, bumbling brother in law who’s confused about his sexual orientation, played hilariously by David Cross.
Hopefully how well ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Movie does in the box office will jumpstart the new series to be shown back on TV again… if that’s a possibility.
