For some reason the unofficial trailer for Nicolas Cage new movie BAD LIEUTENANT hit the web. It’s supposed to be somewhat of a remake of Harvey Keitel’s classic but not quite.. because this one’s called BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS and instead of a case of a nun who got raped, it’s about Cage gettin’ high, protecting Xzibit, grabbing some hoe’s ass, and seeing crazy sh*t. I don’t mind director Werner Herzog, I admired Rescue Dawn but what the hell is this?!

I think the trailer is a very bad cut, nothing more … but I’m pleased that Nic has a role where he can actually do something.
I hope you’re right esteban, but in my opinion… it looks like another dud for Nicky. When is he gonna get out of the rut? Not with this film, that’s for sure.
