Eric Bana
And so it is written and so it is done, according to Variety, Eric Bana is going to play the villain Nero for J.J. Abrams’ STAR TREK Prequel Movie, scheduled for release at the end of next year. We’ve known for quite some time that the cast will include Zachary Quinto as the young Spock, Anton Yelchin as the young Chekov, Zoe Saldana as the young Uhura and Leonard Nimoy as the present Spock. Eric Bana who is already working on another sci-fi film project called The Time Traveler’s Wife.
J.J. Abrams seems like the now master of secrecy. He knows how to keep the storylines of his movies from the media. I mean, nobody knows yet what Cloverfield/1-18-08 is about exactly. No leaks like the recent Indy Jones incident.
They haven’t chosen the young Kirk! I wonder who’s good enough for the legendary role?

TINTIN
According to Superherohype, Steven Spielberg said that he and Peter Jackson will definitely work on the big screen version of TINTIN, based on a Belgian comic by Herge. Peter Jackson will direct the first installment in New Zealand and he himself will direct the second installment in USA. If they couldn’t find the third director for the last part of the trilogy, then they’d most likely co-direct it. The movie itself will be fully done with motion capture CGI like Beowulf and Polar Express.
It seems like TINTIN’s got himself a first-rate star treatment.
