Heath Ledger’s last movie was not THE DARK KNIGHT, yes it was one of the greatest performance to ever hit the big screen but his actual last role was in the movie THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS, directed by Terry Gillian. When Heath died, the project was stopped for weeks, The director had problem trying to figure out how to make it continue without having to replace Heath completely and starting the project all over again would be very costly. There were talks about doing it digitally like the one done on The Crows when Brandon Lee died. But it all came down to three people: Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell, and Jude Law agreed to play Heath’s character and help finish the movie.
Quick Stop Entertainment has this clip of the teaser that features Director Terry Gillian excitedly talking about the fantasy/adventure movie THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS which will open in 2009
