Ben Affleck is not the most talented actor in the shed. He can act,.. he’s just not that impressive. He’s not as bad as Keanu Reeves or Jessica Alba but Ben Affleck is definitely not his pal, Matt Damon. Even Ben’s younger bro, Casey Affleck (The Assassination of Jesse James) is a better actor than he’ll ever be.
Now, after seeing the mindblowing directorial debut film Gone Baby Gone last year, you would think that he’s finally found his place, which is behind the camera, but o no.. he just has to get back in the frame.
He’s got the thriller State of Play and the romantic comedy He’s just Not That Into You this year.
In addition to those two titles, according to Variety, he’s been cast in the comedy EXTRACT for Miramax, written and directed by the genius behind Office Space and Beavis & Butthead, Mike F*in’ Judge!
The story is about an ambulance-chasing lawyer (Affleck) and a flower extract factory owner, played by Jason Bateman (The Kingdom) who’s dealing with workplace problems and a streak of bad luck, including his wife’s affair with a gigolo.
Also newly joining the cast is actor Clifton Collins Jr. who I think should’ve been nominated for best supporting role as the convicted killer in the 2005 movie Capote.
Clifton will play a factory worker who loses a body part in a freak accident and is now due for a huge settlement.

When it comes to Mike Judge, let’s just say that I’m not a fan of King of the Hill. I don’t see anything funny about that series.
But I am, however, an admirer of everything Beavis and Butthead and of course the classic, Office Space... that Milton and his stapler are legendary.
I even thought that Mike Judge’s previous little movie Idiocracy was a hilarious flick that never had a fair fighting chance. I’m still hoping he would make a spin off movie based on the character President Camacho, played by Terry Crewes.
But enough going down memory lane.
Can Mike Judge’s new comedy EXTRACT make Ben Affleck favorable again in the eyes of movie buffs everywhere?

one thing for sure, his hilarious stunt video “Jimmy Kimmel F*kin’ Ben Affleck” has earned him some respect for not being afraid to dare.
There was a talk about Beavis and Butthead live action movie… whatever happened to that plan??
