Brad Pitt and Matt Damon have done voice work for animated movies before. Pitt for Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas and Damon for Titan A.E. and last year’s Ponyo. But for their next animated gig, they’re going to Antarctica, well, Australia actually but according to Movieline, the Ocean’s Eleven stars has been cast in George Miller’s MAD MAX 4… ehm.. sorry.. I mean to say HAPPY FEET 2 in 3D…
Damon and Pitt will be joining Robin Williams and Elijah Wood who are already returning to reprise their voice roles, Ramon/Lovelace and Mumble. No word yet which characters Damon and Pitt will be voicing but they will start recording for the project this coming week.
Blogging about this, I can’t help but remember Brittany Murphy’s sad untimely death. Maybe HAPPY FEET 2 can be dedicated in her memory, just like the end credit for The Dark Knight and The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus that mentioned the name Heath Ledger.
Who’s going to voice the penguin Gloria? Or is the story not going to include Gloria at all?
