Earlier this week, there was info that director Matthew Vaughn (Stardust) is no longer the name to direct the movie adaptation THOR.
That’s okay,.. no biggie. So long as Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) is still the screenwriter, it should be fine.
All Marvel has to do is assign the directing job to some one else.
What’s biggie is the following info from Latinoreview, Marvel is thinking Brad Pitt as the superhero.
I guess the image of buff Brad Pitt as Achilles in Troy is still embedded in people’s mind who say that he appears to be the kind of guy who’d be perfect to hold THOR’s mighty hammer
I agree, but Brad Pitt just needs to work out again because his body doesn’t look the same anymore.
Brad Pitt hasn’t been offered the part yet.
But the question remains, would he want to put on the costume and play the character?
According to the Announcement, THOR will be released on June 10th, 2010
