This is the Brand Spankin’ New Trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT. The word is that this is the final trailer but I’m hoping that’s not the case because it’s been cool to get all this TDK stuff for the past year, I’d for things to just stop.
This new trailer just shows even more that Bruce Wayne wants to stop being Batman, maybe he longs for order in Gotham City. It seems like the movie will be filled with moral dilemma, a conflicted soul and all the while a madman is out there and he loves to watch the world burn.
THE DARK KNIGHT arrives July 18th, 2008
Christian Bale spoke about the movie in the latest issue of Parade magazine and he also spoke about how he hoped THE DARK KNIGHT would be a celebration of Heath Ledger‘s work instead of the circus that the media created after Heath’s untimely death back in January.
This is what Christian Bale said about Batman and the possibility of doing a third movie…
“What Batman is all about is a double-sided edge; there’s a duality to this character, which makes him still interesting to play in the sequel — I hope in a third,” and ” I don’t know if I will grow out of it one day. But I still have a love of just being perverse.”
