Rumors are usually exciting… about some big names being cast in a big project, for example.. but something awful is in the air, and I hope htis is nothing but a rumor. According to Hollywood Elsewhere, Bruce Willis who was supposed to helm first directorial debut movie THREE STORIES ABOUT JOAN (Read the previous info) now has walked off the project due to financial disagreements with fellow producers Mark Damon and Mosh Diamant,
The confrontation was rooted in the assumption that this should’ve been a $20 budget movie but the money was never there. And this made the action super star very pissed off. and so he took a hike and said “yippie kay yay, mothaF*cka!” well, he didn’t quite say those words but he might as well.
The rumor is that Damon is suing and word has it that the uncooperative director-actor that admit that one’s finances aren’t entirely in order. It’s a he-says she-says thing and this could all be just publicity stunt. I just can’t imagine how my favorite action star would blow his chance of directing his first movie ever over something that could be peacefully resolved. But maybe he’s got too much ego now to come to the table and negotiate.
But once again, this could all just be nothing but rumor… hopefully.
According to IMDB, the movie’s supposed to have been in production and it stars Camilla Belle, Kieran Culkin, Owen Wilson and of course, Bruce Willis.
Here’s the weird plot again..just so you get the idea how confusing and heavy this psychological thriller/drama’s going to be…

THREE STORIES ABOUT JOAN is a tautly structured fable that weaves in the surreal with the real, the supernatural with the unnatural, and the triumph of young love in all its exhaltation, and its desperation. And it is brilliant in its deception, as nothing ever is what it appears to be.
