IESB got to see the early footage of Bruce Willis‘ upcoming sci-fi action thriller THE SURROGATES which is an adaptation of Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele’s very popular graphic novel and everything about it sounds… so far so good.
I’m a big fan of Bruce Willis and I know he’ll never win an Oscar but as long as he satisfies his fans with what he does best, then he could be a legend in his own way in the eyes of those who of us who admire him as action super star.
I think even Willis himself knows his place in the movie world.
The website gives description of the footage including a robot that’s supposed to be the surrogate of Bruce Willis’ character. The Robot twin is a younger, better version of him,.. and with full hair. Maybe it would look like the character David Addison from the 80s series Moonlighting.
The robot has mad strength but it’s not invincible, If you kill the robot, then you might kill the person too. The footage was full of explosives, chase and suspense, it’s action-packed.
IESB also got to see some pre-viz footage of Jake Gyllenhaal’s next movie, PRINCE OF PERSIA: SANDS OF TIME, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. They didn’t reveal much but apparetly Gyllenhall doesn’t have his poster boy brokeback persona anymore for this project, in fact, the website thinks he looks “badass”
