Here’s some movie info that happened this past week. I just picked the most interesting ones and comment on them. Feel free to add your opinions about them too
1). According to Variety, Andy Serkis, the genius that brought life into computer generated character such as the gollum in LOTR and King Kong has been cast in the film project, collaboration of Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg, the movie version of the popular Belgian comic book and cartoon… TINTIN.
Many American audiences today are not familiar with TINTIN, I’ve read the comic book when I was a kid so in a way it’s good to know that the movie version is in good hands of two great filmmakers. The format will be motion capture combined with 3-D, which is a cool choice if you want to do justice to the story and its characters.
No word yet on which character Andy Serkis is going to play, the rumor is Captain Haddock.
Maybe he’s going to play TINTIN’s dog companion Snowy, we all know Andy’s good at doing that kind of gig.
2). aintitcool got the info from British television This Morning that Daniel Craig might have revealed a bit about what the upcoming James Bond movie title would be.
He was more giving hints than actually saying it. He said that since Casino Royale was about how he started as a 00 agent so this next title might be more of a number than it is a name.
What number might that be? 007,… maybe?
BOND 22 has been the working title of this project for a while now.. doesn’t that have a number already?
Ah, come on, man! Be creative! Show some effort, will ya!
We need something catchy, not too simple.
I may not like the title Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but at least Steven Spielberg and the guys didn’t decide to go with Indiana Jones 4 or just Indiana Jones.
3). JACKASS 2.5 is the latest from Johnny Knoxville and his gang of stunt idiots. I gotta say, and I know that this’ll make me a f*d up movie buff,… I’m a fan of Jackass movies.
They’re so stupid, I can’t wait to see what ball-clamping, rocket launching, yellow snow-cone acts they’re gonna do next.
