AVATAR

In case you’re wondering, yes the worldwide total for AVATAR has surpassed $1 Billion mark and still going, domestically as well, the James Cameron 3D epic also climbed up to no. 4 with $450 Million, beating Shrek 2, closing in on Star Wars but still a distance away from The Dark Knight and especially Titanic which holds the all-time domestic throne at $600 Million. Cameron told EW that he actually had the sequel in mind while working on the first installment…

“I’ve had a storyline in mind from the start – there are even scenes in ‘Avatar’ that I kept in because they lead to the sequel,”
“It just makes sense to think of it as a two or three film arc, in terms of the business plan. The CG plants and trees and creatures and the musculo-skeletal rigging of the main characters — that all takes an enormous amount of time to create. It’d be a waste not to use it again.”

Sam Worthington who’s already signed on for two more AVATAR Movies jokingly said that for the next one, his character Jake Sully should abuse his Avatar, be fat and demand Neyteri to get him a beer. A dysfunctional Na’vi marriage,… Worthington might have something there.
But you gotta admire the determination of veteran actor Stephen Lang who played Col. Quaritch in the movie. Those of you who’ve seen it would know that Quaritch would risk inhaling Pandora’s poisonous air just to win a fight. The character is not far different from the actor. Lang implies that if Quaritch wants to come back, he will come back…

“You think those two arrows in my chest are going to stop me from coming back?”
“Nothing’s over so long as they’ve got my DNA.”

Stubborn old son of a b*tch! Ha!

AVATAR 2 and AVATAR 3 are scheduled to hit theaters on … Ha! Almost got you there!
