It has been rumored that the movie version of JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA might probably be CGI instead of live-action. It’s mostly about performance capture, not necessarily the faces. Some of you might think it’s not gonna be cool to do it that way, but it’s understandable because… the film itself will be directed by CGI movie ‘Happy Feet’ director George Miller.
Christian Bale has said that he’d stick with the Batman franchise that he’s already in and Brandon Routh will not ply JLA’s Superman. So CGI version of Justice League of America would be the only solution. It would look a lot like ‘Polar Express’ and the upcoming ‘Beowulf’ though. I’m just disappointed in the fact that that would also mean Wonder Woman is going be CGI too. But the word is that Hollywood’s trying to make a live action movie version separate for Wonder Woman.
One problem is that this kind of “photo-real” motion capture usually takes a long time to make. So they might have to push back the release date, unless the come up with a very high tech computer generated way of doing things faster.
