Dreamworks Orders MUSUNAHI

Museum Of Natural History Museum

When I first read about this last night, that there’s a museum of supernatural phenomenons and urban legends I was like ’sweet, I’m totally down’. Ya see I grew up watching X-Files, so I was ready to find out the cost of the tickets, google map the place but turns out, it’s just a website and it has a name that make me hungry for Sushi. Hollywood Reporter said Dreamworks Pictures is developing a movie based on the website Musunahi.com, it’s short for THE MUSEUM OF SUPERNATURAL HISTORY

Hollywood is making movies based on websites, let’s not act surprised because that Facebook biopic is on the way, and you know some of the studios are making series based on some of the Twitter accounts so MUSUNAHI is just another project in this inevitable trend.
Created by Ernest Lupinacci, he described the website as “to the paranormal world what National Geographic is to the real world”
It basically covers the unexplainable.. from aliens, sasquatch, stonehenge to myths about jellyfish taking down fishing boats.
Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are producing. The studio is talking to writers about the idea for the story which “would center on the curator of a covert organization known as the Museum of SuperNatural History who must seek out and protect the world’s best-kept secrets.”
No worries, I got a feeling we won’t see Ben Stiller running around in security guard uniform, panicking.
So what do you think?
