Some guys just don’t know when to stop,… But if you try to tell Sylvester Stallone to stop making action movies, it would probably be the last day that you see your head attached to your body.
Young Rambo was hardore, old Rambo could be a raging maniac. Speaking of which, the latest RAMBO movie was more hilarious than it is thrilling. I lost count on how often I laughed and laughed and laughed while watching the incredibly ridiculous choreography of the violent action sequences.. not to mention the cheesy-ass lines that were just unbelievably embarrassing.
I’d rather see him do another Rocky Balboa movie, now that I can take.
But no, he just has to do more action, doesn’t he?! According to Variety, Sylvester Stallone is set to star in and helm THE EXPENDABLES for Nu Image/Millennium Films. And of course, to nobody’s surprise, he’s also going to write the script.
I know the old saying, ‘if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself’.. but damn, Stallone took it to heart.
The story is about a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator.
The only reason I’d see this movie,… the awesome co-stars which includes Jason Statham and Jet Li in a reunion since their first movie together, the poor excuse for an action movie, WAR.
There are 2 other projects that were previously had Stallone’s name attached to them. But no one has heard anything much about them anymore. I’m talking about Stallone’s desire to remake DEATH WISH and his involvement in a Bollywood movie project alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
