I’m so irritated at the fact that during these troubled times of crappy economy, some people are not affected at all. While SAG try to get every actor to go on strike to get compensation from internet profit, Twilight actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be laughing to the bank for a long time and won’t have to worry about going to the ‘poor house’ anytime soon because according to Chicago Sun Times, they’re going to get some pay raise for the sequels.
Yup, they were each paid $2 Million for the first movie, guess how much they’re gonna get for the next title, NEW MOON? Each will get a ridiculous $12 Million plus any percentage from future movies’ box office take and remember, author Stephanie Meyer did write more books and the word is that the deal is almost done on greenlighting the movie version based on the third book but no confirmation yet at this moment. So far, NEW MOON is the one already in the pocket.. and those two actors will have deep pockets by the time they hit the age of 25 and they’re not even there yet. They’re younger than me for crying out loud!
Some actors have it so easy. I wouldn’t mind if somebody like Daniel Day Lewis gets paid that much money because he’s a F*in’ brilliant, amazing actor…, but Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?! WTF!
And here I am still trying to figure out how the hell am I gonna buy my family some Christmas gifts. Life’s unfair, man!
