Empire has scored the first look official photo from the upcoming movie CENTURION, directed by Neil Marshall, the Brit talent who’s given us some of recent year’s greats like The Descent and Doomsday. The image features last year’s Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko, too bad it doesn’t show her legs or anything remotely close to what makes her attractive but fear not, Neil Marshall is one filmmaker who can utilize and maximize a hottie’s potential even in the midst of apocalypse or inside a cave full of monsters.

In CENTURION, Olga Kurylenko plays a femme fatale once again, named Etain, a vengeful savage-lookin’ Pict warrior woman in an action-adventure set in AD 117 (63 years before the events of Gladiator)
Those of you who might have a twisted fantasy of wanting Olga to just look hot and not speak so much will get your dirty wishes come true in this movie because for the most part, her character will be mute..

“Etain is kind of revenge incarnate,” says the writer/director, speaking to Empire exclusively on set. “Her family were butchered by the Romans, she had her tongue cut out by the Romans, she’s had a hell of a time and she’s out for Roman blood.”
“She’s quite furious,” agrees Kurylenko. “Because one sense is not there – she can’t speak – all the others are more developed. She sees very well and hears very well: she is an animal!”

Also starring Michael Fassbender, Dominic West, Noel Clarke, David Morrisey, JJ Feild and Riz Ahmed
The British-set sword and sandals thriller, set during the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 117, details the story of Quintus Dias, sole survivor of a Pictish raid on a Roman frontier fort, who marches north with General Virilus’ legendary Ninth Legion, under orders to wipe the Picts from the face of the earth and destroy their leader Gorlacon.

CENTURION has yet to have a U.S. theatrical release
