I guess you can put GAMER above CRANK movies if you put it that way. at the same time, no matter how many reviews we post about Neveldine/Taylor movies, they'll always come up with the same filmmaking style.. it's their trademark. I'm sure for their next movie, we'd write another similar review guaranteed with "far-fetched" and lack of attention on characters and story.. once again. True.. No character development except for the two main stars, you care for no one in the film but these two guys, crazy action, shaky camera, and a slightly lame ending. The only difference is the rating. I gave it a little more just because I'm an action junkie as long as the story makes sense. I hate the Crank and Transporter series because of the ridiculousness such as jumping and rolling a car over in midair to take a bomb off the undercarriage then landing perfectly, or jumping about 10 feet in the air so two oncoming cars don't crush you... or the best of all... falling 1000 feet from a helicopter and landing in the middle of a street BUT SURVIVE. haha GAMER never really went into that ridiculousness... though the whole cell thing was pretty far fetched. lol I agree with everything you said about the film.
