George Lucas says INDIANA JONES 5 is NOT about Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf)

Recently, George Lucas spoke about how challenging it was to convince Spielberg and everyone to make INDIANA JONES 4 because some people wanted to take it to one direction and he wanted to take to another direction…. the space ship alien bullcrap direction.

I was so pissed at the fact that Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull kinda gave hints about Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf) being the possible successor to continue the adventure as the son of Indiana Jones. Shia doesn’t have the charm, certainly anyone who swings from tree to tree like a monkey and think it’s cool to do so is not qualified to be the next Indiana Jones.

Via MTVMoviesblogGeorge Lucas insisted that Mutt Williams is NOT even in consideration for the fifth installment. Mutt might NOT even do a cameo…

“Indiana Jones is Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford IS Indiana Jones. If it was Mutt Williams it would be ‘Mutt Williams and the Search for Elvis’ or something.”

“We ARE looking for something for him to go after. They are very hard to find. It’s like archeology. It takes a huge amount of research to come up with something that will fit.”

Really, Lucas?! You’re going to go back to archeology stuff.
I find that hard to believe. You’ll always find away to incorporate Star Wars elements into anything that you do including Indiana Jones.

If I so much as see one more alien/spaceship mumbo jumbo in INDIANA JONES 5, so help me I will…  man, I’m raged with anger I can’t think straight anymore!

It’s just sad how Lucas, Spielberg, and Harrison Ford still think that they can make the story continue forever.
They should’ve left the first three movies alone, engraved in our hearts and memories as part of the classic trilogies in the history of cinema.
