The original Cast and the director of THE GOONIES today
Two days ago, there was an info by moviehole that Warner Bros. is developing THE GOONIES 2.
Great info, right?! I mean, who wouldn’t wanna anticipate a sequel to one of the greatest movies that rocked the 80s.
It’d be even more awesome if some, if not all the cast could return to reprise their roles, which is unlikely, but hey.. you never know.
But Cinematical did some scooping around of their own to make sure this doesn’t stay just a rumor, to make sure somebody up there really makes sure this movie’s really going to happen.
It sucks when good things have to come to an end but sadly Erik Davis and his gang found out that GOONIES sequel might not be true after all.
They say that it’s getting confused for another project called TREEHOUSE GANG which is kinda like Goonies because the plot is supposedly about a group of people at their 10 year union who find themselves on a treasure hunting adventure.
What a bummer! Maybe sometimes we should leave things be and not dig up too much, because what we discover might disappoint us. But here in the blogging world, we’re in the business of finding things out and giving opinions about them.
Well, GOONIES 2, it was good while it lasted… but then again, Warners is making the sequel and this Treehouse Gang thing is just a front. Maybe it’s like one of those sequels, where they cast new group of people but then one person from the original movie shows up and makes cameo appearance… like a show stopper.
