I came back from a long hard day’s work to find that a rumor has arisen and it’s an okay one, I might add. Latino Review the website who gets the scripts so early, I think they might get a script before it’s even written, that’s how ‘amazingly crazy’ things can get. A trusted source over there claimed that WB, the studio behind GREEN LANTERN Live Action movie project, wants Ryan Gosling as the superhero.
That’s cool in my book. I think he’s a terrific actor (The Notebook, Fracture). He probably just needs to bulk up for the role cause right no he sure hell is skin and bones.
Gosling is sure is the better choice than the previous rumors Latino Review had heard,.. people like Seth Green, Justin Long, and David Boreanaz, I’m cracking up just typing those names…. why not throw in Pauly Shore in the circle while we’re at it.
Ryan Gosling was nominated for Oscar for the movie Half-Nelson where he played a crack-addict teacher. This fact alone gives Gosling enough credibility to be able to play just about any character you can throw at him.
If he gets cast, he’ll play Hal Jordan who is a fictional character, a DC Comics superhero. He is the second Green Lantern and arguably the most famous hero to bear that name. Created by John Broome and Gil Kane.
Once again, just like I’ve said many times before when it comes to GREEN LANTERN Movie… I still don’t understand the fascination. He may be all right but I don’t find GREEN LANTERN cool, awesome, or badass.
