HITMAN Review

Hitman
Game based movies are just simply terrible! HITMAN just makes that statement rings even more true than ever. Not only the casting is bad since Timothy Olyphant does not look cool as a professional assassin, let alone a bald one, it’s also clear to see that the script was… hastily written just so they could quickly make the movie and get rich off the fans of the video games who probably spend too much time on their Xbox, therefore are too dumb to be able to tell the difference between good quality movies and those that deserve to be in cinema’s hall of shame.

Agent 47 is a professional Hitman who seems to know how to keep his whereabouts a mystery, like a ghost. He’s always been successful in killing the targets that are assigned to him, but all of a sudden he realizes that he’s been set up and other assassins are being hired to hunt him down. He is now forced to retalliate and kill the brains behind the conspiracy.

Hitman

The movie does show some cool fight sequences between agent 47 and other bald hitmen and the filmmaker also manages to give us that cool sniper shot angle and hot view of the bullet flying from miles away to hit the target in an instant.
The femme fatale in this movie, though not pretty, does have a body to-kill-for.
This HITMAN is like a lame version of James Bond, he’s got no womanizing skill whatsoever.
After having seen a great movie about an assassin who lost his identity (The Bourne Ultimatum), movies like this one feels more like a fly in the soup, a pain in the ass, everything that’s irritating.

In other cases, I’d be able to just watch a movie with bad storyline or bad acting and still find it entertaining because I was watching it just for the action.
In the case of HITMAN, there’s nothing extraordinary about both the action and the storyline.
