I was at the Harley Davidson meet today, I’m thinking about purchasing one, just weighing my options for the moment. There are lots of bikers and their families just chilin’, havin’ BBQs and gettin’ new tattooes, it’s a phenomenal culture.
Lo and behold, star-sighting! Danny Trejo was there! For those of you who might’ve been living under a rock all this time. Trejo is the badass mothaf*cka who played bad guys in many movies but you’d probably recognize him as Cucuy, the guy Johnny Depp called Mexican’t in Once Upon A Time In Mexico.. or in Robert Rodriguez hilarious short film for Grindhouse, MACHETE.
Speaking of which, MACHETE is going to be turned into a full blown movie and so I asked Trejo, first not to kill me cause I still like breathing and then secondly.. when they’re going to start the production for that project because obviously Rodriguez is a busy filmmaker (Sin City 3, Nerverackers, Predators). He said that they’re going to start shooting in June and the bad guy will the same [Jeff Fahey].
I don’t care what others say, meeting Danny Trejo is one of the highlights of my movie blogging days.
