O boy, here we go.. If you think nuke the fridge action and alien spaceship twist and old age will keep Harrison Ford from wearing the big hat for the fifth time, better think again cause he’s talked INDIANA JONES 5 to France’s Le Figaro, via People. He basically said the story for INDIANA JONES 5 is almost ready
“the story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”
See.. this is what worries me, when he said ‘George Lucas’.. Lucas should keep his alien loving hands to himself and let Spielberg and Ford do their thing, plus I hope David Koepp doesn’t get to write the screenplay again, Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull was such an unbearable movie watching experience, seeing your hero deteriorating in one lame scene after another on the big screen was just simply heart-breaking.
That said, like my friend Moviebuff123 reminded me a while back, it doesn’t matter what we thought of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the long-ass title.. because the movie still earned $786.6 million worldwide, Ford cracked the whip all the way to the bank.
