The initial title was actually Holiday In Hawaii, thank God they didn’t go with that one. Written by Allan Loeb and Tim Dowling, the plot is currently kept under wraps. I got a feeling the logline is going to be just as outrageous and far fetched as Sandler’s other project JACK AND JILL where he’s set to play both Jack and his twin sister Jill.
Production for PRETEND WIFE is expected to start early next year with a scheduled release on Feb. 11th, 2011, the Friday before Valentine’s Day. Sandler’s previous Valentine’s Day opening movie was 50 First Dates.
