Before Johnny Depp was in Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, he was in 21 Jump Street. Remember that series?
That was back when Johnny Depp was nothing but a poster boy and not known yet as a great talent that he is now.

Entertaiment Weekly has confirmed that the funny fatso from Superbad, Jonah Hill will write and exec produce 21 JUMP STREET The Movie.
The series, which ran from 1987-1991 was about young cops who got signed to an elite squad that would infiltrate highs chool and fight crimes.
Two things are uncertain at the moment… whether or not Jonah’s going to star in the movie as well… and whether or not he’s going to turn this into a comedy/action with rated R approach.
What baffles me is I didn’t know Jonah Hill could write.
