Josh “Moron” Schwartz is Writing X-Men 4?

X-Men 4

Notice I put the word “moron” in the title indicating the guy named Josh Schwartz sounds like a guy who talks crap, and notice I put question mark at the end of the title of this post because I’m hoping that all of a sudden this would all turn out to be some sort of prank and that the world got punk’d.

via blackbookmag, the word is that the creator of the TV series The O.C., Gossip Girl, and Chuck claimed that he is currently writing the next X-MEN Movie and that the fourth installment might be a prequel of sorts.
His name is Josh Schwartz and he wants to utilize some lesser known mutants in X-MEN 4. The main plot will center on a teenage prodigy stationed at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.

This is what he said about this…

“I’m very well aware that I’ll be bludgeoned by purists, but I love its mythology, and it comes with a pretty hefty paycheck.”

“It’s not like I’m adding new characters like Toaster Head, or anything like that. The Incredible Hulk looks like it’s going to be terrible. And why does he look like he’s fighting against the monster from Cloverfield? I mean, with Transformers, it’s not like fans were going to come back saying, ‘You used the wrong car.’ This, however, is a different story. Brett Ratner didn’t have a lot of credibility going in to the third X-Men movie, but I think Bryan Singer [who directed the first two installments] got a free pass on Superman Returns because of his work on X-Men.”

He’s doing it for the hefty paycheck?! What the F!
If this is true, which I hope not, then this hypocrite is going to ruin the franchise because people who do things only for the money are usually people who don’t put passion and their heart into the projects.

So what… he’s going to cast Benjamin McKenzie as Gambit? What a F*in’ Joke!

How dare he talks about Bryan Singer, the genius behind the classic Usual Suspect, and Brett Ratner may not be the greatest director but he brought us Rush Hour franchise, what has this moron Josh Schwarts ever done but created small time series, popular one day, lame the next day.

And what the hell was he smoking, comparing The Abomination to the stupid Cloverfield monster?! They’re nothing alike! Either this moron was seeing things or he’s just got no intelligence in his brain that it’s rapidly affecting his eyesight.

Besides, Hugh Jackman is already filming X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE and there’s already talks about making another X-Men spin-off that focuses on Magneto.
I think X-Men movies should be left alone. Three is enough.
