Journey to the Center of the Earth
Wow! I really like this movie! Do not watch this one without the technology. You have got to experience it by using those neat glasses. It’s a family movie that will… take your sight/visual to a whole new level of excitement. It’s fast paced, adrenaline rush, fun for the whole family adventure flick that you’d wanna watch over and over again. The action sequences engage the audiences and are guaranteed to keep you at the edge of your seats. Robert Zemeckis’ movies (The Polar Express, Beowulf) can step aside, because here comes Eric Brevig’s JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH.

A science professor has untraditional hypotheses that have made him the laughing stock of the academic community. But, on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the Earth’s surface, where they travel through never-before-seen worlds and encounter a variety of unusual creatures.

Standing ovation to the genius behind the visual/special effects. The king and queen of this prom are the technical people who manage to bring us a CG world beyond any imagination.
The creativity that’s put into making sure that our senses are treated with the best spectacle is simply admirable.
The trailer doesn’t do justice, once you’ve seen the movie you’ll see how extraordinary the images are.

Some people may find this movie a bit ludicrous. Maybe because of the “out there” storyline, then maybe this movie’s not for you. It’s for those of us who enjoy watching incredibly ridiculous chase scene with a T-Rex involved
I like how this movie messes with heights. Whenever you find yourself feel like you’re about to fall into a 20 story drop, that’s a good time for the 3-D action to take place and keep your heart pumping fast.
I think what makes this movie so awesome is that it gives you that Roller Coaster ride feeling.

Brendan Fraser, of course is the man with comes to adventure movies (The Mummy movies), he’s born for this type of movie. He’s got the comedic timing and the ability to let you know that something colossal is about to happen.
Josh Hutcherson and the attractive Anita Briern give excellent performances. Especially Josh Hutcherson, I think he’s going to grow up to become a very promising young actor.

Bottomline, don’t think too hard when you’re watching this one, just sit back, put on the special glasses and enjoy the ride of a lifetime! To the center of the earth and back!
