Kate Bosworth Lost Girls Love Hotels

The girl with different colored eyes, her left is blue, her right is brown, Kate Bosworth, is going to Japan. I know some would remember Bosworth as Lois Lane in Superman Returns but to me, she will always be that cute Blue Crush girl. According to Hollywood Reporter, she’s going to produce and star in the adaptation of LOST GIRLS AND LOVE HOTELS for Relativity Media, based on the novel by author Catherine Hanrahan, published in 2006…

The project will be directed by Jean-Marc Vallee who helmed Young Victoria starring Emily Blunt.
Stories about American experiencing culture shock in Japan never cease to captivate Hollywood. Lost In Translation and Black Rain, not too long ago Chickflicks productions is developing an adaptation of JAPAN TOOK THE J.A.P OUT OF ME by author Lisa Fineberg Cook, and now LOST GIRLS AND LOVE HOTELS, judging from the plot below, sounds like Bosworth is going to attempt some risque moments.

Here’s the official synopsis of the book..
“Margaret is doing everything in her power to forget home, and Tokyo’s exotic nightlife-teeming with drink, drugs, and three-hour love hotels enables her to keep her demons at bay. Working as an English specialist at Air-Pro Stewardess Training Institute by day and losing herself in a sex- and drug-addled oblivion by night, Margaret represses memories of her painful childhood and her older brother Frank’s descent into madness. But Margaret’s deliberate nihilism is thrown off balance as she becomes increasingly haunted by images of a Western girl missing in Tokyo. And when she meets Kazu, a mysterious gangster, their affair sparks a chain of events that could spell tragedy for Margaret, in a city where it’s all too easy to disappear.”
