Variety reported that Grey’s Anatomy hottie Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in the adaptation ONE FOR THE MONEY for Columbia Pictures and Lakeshore Entertainment, which are currently looking for a director. This story about a bounty hunter named Stephanie Plum, based on the 1999 book by author Janet Evanovich, was supposed to star Reese Witherspoon but nothing ever happened after all these years. The 16th Plum novel is supposed to arrive this summer. This is a good sign isn’t it?! Maybe for once Heigl could do a feature film that’s not rom-com..
