Yesterday, there was a big info from AICN stating there might be SPEED 3 underway and the Studio wants Keanu Reeves back as Jack Tavern, the character from the first installment. I made a comment saying that I’m open to the idea, besidesl, after how terrible SPEED 2 was, how worse could SPEED 3 be?
But, just as he turned down the offer for the sequel years ago, Keanu Reeves has debunked the rumor, Via IGN
“I honestly don’t know anything about it,” he said. “I don’t know if they are going to make another one, and if they are it won’t be with me… honestly!”
Unfortunately, the website correspondent didn’t go on to ask him, “Why Not?”
I’m always wanted to know what grudge he has against SPEED Franchise.
Maybe he’d rather say yes to LAKE HOUSE 2 or MATRIX 4 than to make another SPEED Movie.
