Boy (John Krasinski) meets girl (Mandy Moore), boy dates girl, boy proposes to girl, boy and girl both have troubles getting through their marriage prep course arranged by Reverend Frank (Robin Williams)
It’s not a bad romantic comedy, but the comedy needs to be better if it wants to be remembered. And the lines and dialogues that are supposed to hit hard romantically fail to hit home run. The scenes are not memorable and I don’t meant to be a jerk or anything but this film is for those who are easily amused.
I think John Krasinski who is famously known as that guy from TV’s ‘The Office, has potential to become the next romantic comedy movie star like Hugh Grant and I think Mandy Moore is already stuck as a star of romantic comedy films just like what happened to Meg Ryan.
What’s interesting to see is the stars of ‘The Office’ who make guest appearances in ‘License to Wed’.
If you’re a big fan of the popular TV show ‘The Office’, you would notice that there are at least four actors, including John Krasinski, from that series that show up in that movie.
Maybe John Krasinski is going to be like Adam Sandler, where he would have all his friends be in all his movies.
