Those of us fans of HBO great vampire series True Blood would recognize hottie Lizzy Caplain as the seductress who screwed Jason Stackhouse’s brains out while they were both high on Vampire blood. Caplan is co-starring in the upcoming comedy HOT TUB TIME MACHINE but she also told Collider that she will be in Danny Boyle‘s survival movie 127 HOURS…
127 HOURS is based on a true story of Aron Ralston, played by James Franco, the American mountain climber who self-amputated part of his arm when it was pinned in a 2003 back-country hiking accident. Ralston survived the ordeal. He amputated part of his arm with a dull knife, all by himself. It wasn’t a surgical knife, it wasn’t even sterile, it was just something that he needed to do to survive after getting stuck there for 5 days. Ralston then scaled a 65-foot sheer wall and hiked out before running into a family that gave him water and food. Also starring Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara.
Caplan is set to play Ralston’s sister but she said her character will be part of the hallucination as Ralston slowly amputates his own arm. We previously learned that it took 44 minutes for Ralston to do just that so by then, the blood had congealed, the arm had clotted and therefore the loss was minor. Word has it that Tamblyn and Mara might be hallucinations too later on in the story.
Well, I guess if you’re losing blood and about to lose your arms, hallucinating about 3 hotties would make for a decent compensation.
