Earlier this year, Adam Sandler’s movie production company HAPPY MADISON came up with a little crap film called Strange Wilderness, which had a decent trailer but the movie turn out to be anything but funny. Now from the same production company comes PAUL BLART: MALL COP and the trailer has hit the web and the only thing funny about it is the sight of Kevin James lookin’ surprisingly extra larger than usual. My friend Terry used to own the DVDs of all the seasons of King of Queens, I take it he’s going to be one of the few who’d find this comedy hilarious.
SYNOPSIS:
In Columbia Pictures’ comedy ‘Paul Blart: Mall Cop,’ Kevin James stars as the title character, a single, suburban dad, trying to make ends meet as a security officer at a New Jersey mall. It’s a job he takes very seriously, though no one else does. When Santa’s helpers at the mall stage a coup, shutting down the megaplex and taking hostages (Paul’s daughter and sweetheart among them), Jersey’s most formidable mall cop will have to become a real cop to save the day.
