Real quick now, the director who brought us one of my favorite movies of the year, 500 Days Of Summer, Marc Webb who’s also set to remake Jesus Christ Superstar, is also eyeing another remake. According to Hollywood Reporter, Webb is in talks to direct the English remake of the 2007 Danish thriller JUST ANOTHER LOVE STORY for Mandate Pictures, James Mangold will be one of the executive producers.
The original version, titled Kærlighed på film directed by Ole Bornedal (Nightwatch) was about “a crime photographer who pretends to be the boyfriend of an amnesiac, only to face the wrath of the actual boyfriend when he finds out about the deception.”
It was a hit at the Sundance Festival 2008.
