The rumor about who the villains will be in the next Batman installment has taken a WOW turn today because all we’ve ever heard all this time were baseless rumor after rumor spread over the web and even Johnny Depp heard about it but denied involvement… but he never said he wouldn’t do the part.
MTV got the scoop straight from Alfred the Butler himself, the great Michael Caine…
“They’ve already got them in mind,” said Caine, when asked who he’d like to see take up arms against the Caped Crusader. “It’s Johnny Depp as The Riddler. And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman.
“I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make another one?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘S–t, they’ve done it again!’”

If Michael Caine says it, then it must be true, right?
Unless he just thinks the rumors are so funny that he wants to have fun and be part of it and gets us all excited for nothing.

Yeah they can both totally pull off the rolls. They are both great actors. Out doing Heath is probably going to be a stretch though.
