The other day, my friend asked me when they’re going to start filming the third Narnia movie. I told him maybe later this year but after the disappointing box office result of the 2008 sequel Prince Caspian (The budget was $225 Million but it only earned $141 Million domestically), I don’t see why they’d want to expedite the process. But Bayside Bulletin posted what seems to be our first look but small and boring image at the set of THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER which apparently will start filming in Cleveland Point in September. You can read the rest of the article OVER THERE.
Fox and Walden have been taking care of business since Disney walked out on this franchise. Even though C.S. Lewis wrote more than 3 Narnia books, the franchise might end with just this trilogy, unless new announcement from Fox-Walden tells otherwise.
THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER opens December 10th, 2010
