At first the world thought actor Liev Schreiber (The Manchurian Candidate, Jakob The Liar) was going to play Stryker, who is Wolverine’s main villain in the upcoming spin off movie X-MEN ORIGIN: WOLVERINE
But then the information said that Liev might play Sabertooth instead.
Xmenfilms.net recently heard that the movie has picked a young actor to play the young Stryker (The old version was played by Brian Cox in X2: X-Men United).
This young actor is Australian and his name is Christian Clark.
His career hasn’t shown much.
The movie’s supposed to be set 20-30 years before X-Men Movies.
The character William Stryker in the movie version is a rogue military scientist responsible for how Wolverine became who he is today.
This info is still a rumor, by the way…. if Christian Clark was in this film project, then there’s no knowing yet on what role he’s going to play.
Word has it that actor Michael C. Hall was attached to this as well…
I hope that one really happens because I’m a big fan of TV’s Dexter and I think Michael would be great to play a demented guy whose sole purpose on earth is to eliminate mutants.
