The other day, director Sam Raimi promised that he would make SPIDER-MAN 4.. how should I say this?.. not as crappy as Spider-Man 3, stating that he’s going to make this next one become the best installment of them all. One of the ways to make that happen, in my opinion, is to recast Kristen Dunst, find someone else to take her place as MJ but I’m also aware that Raimi couldn’t picture a Spider-Man movie without Dunst. But good things come to those who wait. Raimi talked to MTV today and said that the first draft by playwright David Lindsay-Abaire will be done in about 4 weeks and…
“Kirsten? I have talked with her, and she’s very excited about the possibility of it,”
“I think I’m going to have to read the screenplay and make sure everything we’ve talked about is working, before I could honestly tell you absolutely how [Dunst’s possible return] would go.”
That’s not enough guarantee. Uncertainty is no guarantee. I’m betting the screenply would include MJ again, that’s okay.. but what we need to know is if Kristen Dunst will be back or get ousted by another actress. The only other closest thing to comfort is if for some odd reason, Dunst gets killed off in the first scene and we won’t to see her face again for the rest of the movie,.. another revenge plot by your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
