dark knight

Boo! Some people are just buzzkill, man! Watching THE DARK KNIGHT in IMAX theaters was one of the highlights of 2008, so it’s natural that a lot of us have been anticipating it to be re-released again in IMAX Theaters and Conventional theaters this coming January 2009 just as previously planned by WB to get the movie popularized one more time for awards consideration, it’s Oscar season and THE DARK KNIGHT is simply one of the best movies of the year.

But once again,.. boo to buzzkill, According to Superherohype, WB has dropped the plans to re-release the movie next month.
No more watching Giant Heath Ledger’s THE JOKER inviting Batman to “Hit Me!” No more Towering image of our Caped Crusader hero kidnapping a Criminal right out of the skies of Asia.
All we can rely on now is the DVD and Blu-Ray treatment that will hit the streets everywhere on December 9th, 2008 in time for you to wrap ‘em up as Christmas Gifts.
And send one to me too if you’d like. I enjoy occasional free stuff especially if it involves a summer blockbuster that almost sunk Titanic.

  1. [...] just hate cocktease. Seems like WB likes to tease its audience. Recently there was info that there wasn’t going to be any re-releasing of the awesome sequel movie THE DARK KNIGHT in the month of January 2009 for Awards consideration [...]
