Rama's Screen

As some of you know, Rama’s SCREEN has had quite the rough year in 2009. This movie blog was attacked by virus 3 times in July, unfreakin’believable! Somebody out there tried to bring us down but they failed. It did however have a significant impact.

One one hand, during that attack, or during that month I should say, Rama’s SCREEN lost a lot of hits and readers and a few connections unfortunately. On the other hand, Rama’s SCREEN got a new look, new theme for its page. Still work in progress but we’re working our best to do touch-up on the aesthetic parts if you will and make it as user friendly as possible. I’m not going to be resting this Thanksgiving break because I’ll be using this time to brainstorm on marketing, getting the word out there about this blog, using every affordable online channel that I could think of, maybe even collaborating with other related websites. So if you have any ideas that all that can help, feel free to give me a holla!

This thanksgiving, I would like to briefly take this moment to thank certain people who for the past year have helped Rama’s SCREEN get to where it is today, and that includes you. If I’m missing any name, my honest mistake. Just remind me and I’ll include them, I promise.
So, without further ado, this year, I am thankful for the following people…

• My friend KC who set up this blog back in 2007. I know I’ve moved on now from using your service to a different host but I’ll never forget what you did my friend. This is a gift from you that I’ll cherish for eternity.

• My webtech wizards Julian and Justin of Zebrakick.com, you saved my ass in July, man! You’ve secured Rama’s SCREEN and worked your magic, giving it a new face. I can’t thank you enough and we still have to meet sometime to discuss more ideas, my friends.

• Esteban of Digg.be, You pointed me to first scoops, first trailer for A CHRISTMAS CAROL that got Rama’s SCREEN linked back to by many other movie bloggers. You’ve always been there from the get-go. Thank you, my friend

• Deb Oliff of Thomagination.com. Your dedication in being a hardcore fan of actor Tom Hollander is admirable. Thank you for reviewing the comedy IN THE LOOP and sharing your opinion with Rama’s SCREEN.
