I thought I would never get the opportunity to see this movie. PRIDE AND GLORY was supposed to be released back in March but for some reason New Line Cinema decided to not release it and some even said that it might never even see the light of day.
Warner Bros. absorbed New Line now, that means WB is ‘who’s da boss!’ and the folks over there want this movie out in theaters.
October 24th, 2008 is the lucky day to celebrate yet another depiction of police corruption a.k.a ‘dirty cops’
Starring Edward Norton, Collin Farrell, and Jon Voight, PRIDE AND GLORY is a gritty and emotional portrait of the New York City Police Department, the film follows a multi-generational police family whose moral code is tested when one of two sons on the force investigates an incendiary case involving his older brother and brother-in-law. The case forces the family to choose between their loyalties to one another and their loyalties to the department.
