The first trailer seen a while ago of FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL wasn’t all that appealing. This new red band trailer, despite showing too much man ass, is indeed a bit funnier. This is the Judd Apatow gang but Judd didn’t direct or write the movie. Instead, it’s the guy from Knocked Up who was one of Seth Rogen’s entourage, his line in that movie was “Did you hear that, Ben? He’s going to rear your child!”
Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill are helping out Jason Segel got his first script success on the big screen.
Rudd, BTW, has one hilarious line in this clip, something that has to do with carpets, you’ll know what I’m talking about… just check it out!
FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, opens May 30th, 2008, is a romantic comedy about a guy who got dumped by his TV star girlfriend. He goes on for vacation in Hawaii only to find that his ex-girlfriend is also staying at the same resort with her new boyfriend. I really thought this movie wasn’t going to be worth my time and money and I suggested it should be released straight to DVD, now after watching this red band trailer, I’m curious to watch it in the theaters.
