If you’re one of the few people on earth who for some odd reason still gives a damn about Resident Evil franchise, you’d be glad to know that Shocktilyoudrop is on of top of this mugga. The logo for RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE, the fourth installment in the series, was spotted at the recent AFM and the website also got its hand on a set photo showing Ali Larter, Milla Jovovich, and newbie Wentworth Miller on board of what appears to be a tanker ship. One of the bad guy’s name is The Executioner, how the Japanese cracked her up, and she thinks Ali Larter’s ass looks amazing…
Alice (Jovovich) continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the fourth installment will be released in 2D and 3D by Screen Gems on August 27, 2010.
This movie looks like it’s going to be terrible…Ali Larter does not make a good Claire Redfield, and I personally can’t stand Miller. Plus, he looks nothing like Chris. They should have ended the third movie in an epic battle against Umbrella, and left the cliffhangers for movies that can actual pull off a full series. (Hell yeah, Die Hard!)
Yeah this might be worst than the 2nd one. But I think it won’t be so male hating as the 3rd one. But then again Paul W. S. Anderson wrote it so his sweetheart can running around making silly faces thinking it is so badass.
I had no problem Alice until Paul decided to make her into Akira in the 3rd one. So I wonder what she is going to evolve in this one since she keeps changing….The Phoenix?
Ali Carter I have no problem with, Wentworth Miller as Chris? Um….there is no way how these two can pass as brother and sister.
I still would like know what happened with Sienna Miller/jill Valentine. Maybe I guess she saw the script and said um yeah…..I’m not falling for that trick again.

I fully agree…the only things that were a success about the 2nd movie were Jill’s character, Nemesis (Only the way he looked though, not the fact he’s actually “Matt”. Oh, and it was epic how they filmed it in Toronto…every time I go there, I’m like “Hey, zombies!”…but this movie, no way. Sienna was smart to back out (unless the rumors are true and she’s actually coming back).
You’re absolutely right though; Miller and Larter do NOT pass as brother and sister. Even then, I can’t see them as the characters either. She was a pretty bad Claire in the 3rd movie, and Claire is my ultimate favorite video-game character so if this movie screws that up, I’ll be pissed
